CW Shows Join Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand

PHILADELPHIA: In its first on-demand deal, The CW has sealed an agreement with Comcast that delivers its prime-time lineup to the Xfinity On Demand service.

As of today, Comcast subscribers can watch the four most-recent episodes of The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, America’s Next Top Model, Hart Of Dixie, 90210, Arrow, Nikita, Beauty & the Beast, Emily Owens, M.D. and Gossip Girl, in SD and HD, at no additional charge. This is The CW’s first on-demand deal with a cable or satellite TV provider.

“Our customers turn to Xfinity On Demand for the latest and most popular programs, and now we’re pleased to add The CW’s popular prime-time lineup to our offerings,” said Matt Strauss, senior VP of Comcast. “We’re committed to giving customers access to the best and newest TV shows when they want, at their fingertips.”
