Ballantyne Strong Sets Up Production Studio

Ballantyne Strong has launched Strong Studios, led by David Ozer, former CEO of Landmark Studio Group, a division of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment.

Strong Studios operates as part of the company’s Strong Entertainment division. Ozer serves as president.

The label will develop and produce original feature films and television series, as well as acquire third-party rights to content for global multiplatform distribution. It launches with an IP slate acquisition and initial distribution agreement with Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment’s Screen Media. Under the deal, Safehaven and Flagrant have been officially greenlit.

In addition, several projects by Ozer at Landmark Studio Group will now be developed and produced by Strong Studios, including Shadows in the Vineyard, Heartbeat and Mid/Night/Mares.
