Jane Seymour Cast in CMT Pilot His Wives & Daughters

NASHVILLE: Golden Globe- and Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) has been cast in the pilot for the CMT series His Wives & Daughters, about country music legend Eddie Ray Banks.

The series will focus on Banks, an infamous womanizer, his wives and daughters and the tempers that boil over when his family is unexpectedly brought together. Seymour will play the country singer’s first wife, Lorna Larson Banks, in the soapy, comedic series. Additional cast members will be announced at a later date.

His Wives & Daughters joins CMT’s lineup of scripted programming, including Nashville, the limited series Million Dollar Quartet (working title) and Still the King. The series is written, created and co-executive produced by Dina Chapman and Steve Sessions, with Jayson Dinsmore and Julia Silverton serving as executive producers for CMT.
