Video Interview: Behind the Scenes of Tsunami: Race Against Time

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, one of the largest natural disasters in recorded history. The four-part documentary Tsunami: Race Against Time provides a 360-degree view of the events, which spanned 14 countries. It features personal accounts from survivors, scientists, journalists and rescuers—some seen and heard for the first time.

Tanya Winston, executive producer of Tsunami: Race Against Time, and Daniel Bogado, director, take TV Real Weekly behind the scenes of the series, which debuted on National Geographic and is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
