Nat Geo Celebrates 50 Years of Jaws with New Documentary

National Geographic has slated the new documentary Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story for July 10 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jaws.

The documentary will feature exclusive new interviews with Steven Spielberg paired with never-before-seen footage from his archives. There will be interviews with Hollywood filmmakers such as J.J. Abrams, George Lucas, Jordan Peele and Guillermo del Toro, with testimonials from Peter Benchley’s family, shark experts and the film’s original cast and crew.

Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story is produced in partnership with Spielberg’s Amblin Documentaries, Nedland Films and Wendy Benchley. The director is Laurent Bouzereau (Faye, Music by John Williams).

Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story will bow on July 10 on National Geographic during this summer’s Sharkfest and is to stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
