SYDNEY: Ahead of its launch at MIPTV, ABC Commercial has sold the documentary series Hitting Home to TVN Style in Poland.

Produced by In Films, Hitting Home is a 2×55-minute docuseries filmed over six months that puts a spotlight on domestic violence. It follows award-winning journalist Sarah Ferguson as she speaks with forensic doctors and specialist police officers, gaining access to prisons and courts to answer questions about domestic violence, including how it begins and escalates, the motivation behind the acts, and why victims stay.

“We’re thrilled to be launching this significant and globally relevant documentary at MIPTV,” said Tony Iffland, the general manager of content sales for ABC Commercial. “The sale to TVN Style is proof that this important in-depth investigation into domestic violence will resonate widely around the world.”

The deal with TVN Style also includes the three-part observational documentary Kids on Speed? The title follows families with children suspected of having ADHD.
