MultiStory Media, part of ITV Studios, has promoted Mike Blair to creative director and Vicky Flind to head of current affairs.

In Blair’s new role, he will focus on expanding MultiStory Media’s documentary and factual output. The portfolio of the label’s recent documentaries includes Brianna: A Mother’s Story; Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power and Profit; Waco: A British Tragedy and The Murder of Logan Mwangi.

In Flind’s newly created role, she will help to grow the company’s successful current affairs slate. Reporting to Blair, she will oversee Martin Lewis Money Show, Tonight and Peston and is to add further current affairs titles to the slate.

These promotions are a part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its position as a lead producer of premium documentaries, current affairs and factual programming in the U.K. and global market.

Simone Haywood will continue as creative director, focusing on actual entertainment and formats.

“We’ve doubled down where we’ve been most successful over the past few years on the two broad genres of factual and factual entertainment,” said Tim Carter, CEO. “The new structure with Mike and Simone heading up the two sides of our business provides clarity and simplicity, allowing MultiStory to do what it does best.”

Blair added, “I’m delighted at this new position with MultiStory. It’s a company and a team I love working with. They’re all profoundly talented, and there’s plenty of exciting projects coming down the tracks in the U.K. and internationally.”

Flind said, “I’m honored to take on the role of head of current affairs at MultiStory Media. I look forward to working with the brilliant teams behind the Martin Lewis Money Show, Tonight and Peston and to have the opportunity to develop a variety of new projects in the months ahead.”

The label produces from its London, Cardiff and Manchester offices.
