Netflix Renews Squid Game: The Challenge

Netflix has ordered a third season of its reality competition Squid Game: The Challenge ahead of the second season premiere on November 4.

In season two, 456 brand-new contestants will compete for a $4.56 million prize in tests of strategy, alliances and endurance and never-before-seen games.

Squid Game: The Challenge is produced by Studio Lambert and The Garden. Executive producers are Nicola Brown and John Hay for The Garden; Tim Harcourt, Stephen Lambert, Nia Yemoh and Stephen Yemoh for Studio Lambert; and Anna Kidd and Nick Walker.

The reality competition is based on Netflix’s global hit series Squid Game. The third and final season of Squid Game set a record on Netflix, amassing more than 106 million views through two weeks and hitting number one in all countries Netflix has rankings for.
