BTS Comeback Doc & Concert Film Coming to Netflix

Netflix will be livestreaming BTS’s comeback concert on March 21 and releasing a documentary film showcasing the making of the group’s fifth studio album on March 27.

From director Bao Nguyen (The Stringer, The Greatest Night in Pop) and producers This Machine and HYBE, the feature-length documentary offers rare behind-the-scenes access as the group comes back together after a nearly four-year hiatus.

The concert, taking place on March 21, will occur just a day after the release of BTS’s fifth album, ARIRANG.

BTS went on hiatus in December 2022 as each member took part in South Korea’s mandatory 18-month military service. Jin and j-hope were discharged in 2024, and RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook were discharged in early June 2025. SUGA was the final member to be discharged in late June.
