PBS International Presents Political Lineup

PBS International has brought a factual slate to MIPTV that includes several political titles ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election later this year.

This includes Democracy on Trial, part of PBS’s Frontline, investigating the roots of the criminal cases against former President Donald Trump stemming from his 2020 election loss and the events of January 6, 2021.

Also on the slate is The Choice 2024, directed by Michael Kirk. The documentary examines each contender’s personal and political biographies through interviews with those who know the candidates best both privately and publicly.

Additionally, PBS International is presenting VP Candidates, which provides a portrait of the vice presidential candidates. Together, VP Candidates and The Choice 2024 provide a comprehensive analysis of political figures from the major U.S. parties.

Other election-themed titles available through PBS International are President Trump, President Biden, Trump’s Road to the White House, Trump’s Showdown and The Choice 2020.
