FAST Media, a joint venture created by Palatin Media and Backbone dedicated to FAST channels, has partnered with Gedeon Media Group to launch the documentary channel Docstory in French-speaking countries.

Docstory’s editorial line will focus on five themes—discovery, heritage, travel and adventure, history and civilizations—and feature programs from Gedeon’s subsidiaries Gedeon Programmes, Docland Yard, MC4 and Terranoa, the latter of which has a catalog comprising 2,000 hours from over 100 third-party producers.

Docstory will launch in France, Belgium, Switzerland and French-speaking Africa on Samsung TV Plus on May 7. IT will eventually extend its reach to other platforms.

Docstory is FAST Media’s 12th channel in its FAST portfolio, which also includes Wasabi (anime), Enquêtes de Choc (reports), Homicide (true crime), Y a Que la Vérité qui Compte, Lotus, Drive TV (motors) and five European channels for Yu-Gi-Oh!
