The documentary streaming service MagellanTV is hosting the world premiere of Search for the Cosmic Dawn, which explores new revelations about the origins of the universe unearthed by the 2021 launch of the James Webb Space Telescope.

A MagellanTV original 4K documentary, Search for the Cosmic Dawn follows scientists’ efforts to understand how the universe as we know it took shape. It features high-definition images and data from the revolutionary James Webb Space Telescope, along with supercomputer simulations.

Search for the Cosmic Dawn was produced by Donna Cox, Robert Patterson and MagellanTV Co-Founder Thomas Lucas. It premieres tomorrow (November 17) on MagellanTV.

Also debuting tomorrow, there is an extended version of the film Killer Asteroid: Defending Earth, another MagellanTV original 4K documentary. The special spotlights the results of NASA’s recent Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART). Killer Asteroid was produced by Lucas alongside James Arthurs.

Both films were written and directed by Lucas and narrated by Matt Baker.
