MagellanTV has doubled down on its nature content slate as its second annual Wild Week gets underway by ordering a new documentary with Nigel Marven.

The new documentary, titled Wild Arabia, will debut in 2024. In the meantime, MagellanTV is showcasing its nature portfolio with Wild Week, a curated playlist of nature documentaries such as World of the Wild and World’s Wildest City: Anchorage available to everyone, including non-subscribers, for free through September 4.

The playlist features other titles starring Marven, including Wild El Salvador: In the Shadow of the Volcanoes, Whale Adventures, Ten Deadliest Snakes and Cruise Ship Adventures.

MagellanTV is further doubling down on its nature portfolio with the expansion of its Wild Nature Now FAST channel, which is set to launch across Europe on multiple services in the coming weeks.

“We’ve always been committed to nature content, and it’s been gratifying to see the genre’s popularity skyrocket on our platform in recent years,” said Greg Diefenbach, managing director of the streamer. “In addition to the increased appetite on MagellanTV, the wildlife category has also performed remarkably well in the FAST landscape—Wild Nature Now is our answer to that. We’re ecstatic to continue our collaboration with Nigel on this latest feature and to share more nature programming with our members, as well as with new viewers across the globe.”
