Televisa Lines Up New Novela to Replace Abyss of Passion

MEXICO CITY: The Televisa in-house production Amores Verdaderos has been set for a September launch, occupying the prime-time slot currently held by Abyss of Passion.

The new novela is about a Mexican business woman, Victoria, whose life is accidentally saved by a field worker named José. As a reward, she hires him to be her personal body guard. Love soon blossoms between the two, and they will have to overcome a number of obstacles to be together, including Victoria’s father.

Amores Verdaderos stars Eduardo Yáñez, Erika Buenfil, Sebastián Rulli, Eiza González, Enrique Rocha, Marjiorie de Sousa, Alberto Estrella, Guillermo Capetillo and Sherlyn González.
