Telenovela Channel Romanza+Africa Launches in Kenya

MEXICO CITY: The 24-hour telenovela channel Romanza+Africa has launched in Kenya, where it will air on the Bamba TV digital television service.

The channel is expected to reach 4.5 million TV households in Kenya through Bamba TV, which is part of the Kenyan media conglomerate Radio Africa Group. The network is the result of a partnership between Azteca and Cisneros Media Distribution, along with digital content distributor AfricaXP.

With over 3,000 hours of English-language programming, the channel delivers Azteca’s dramatic series such as Catalina and Sebastian and Cisneros Media Distribution’s novela Secret of Love (Secreto de Amor), among others.
