Mozambique Picks Up Two Globo Novelas

SÃO PAULO: The Globo telenovelas Trail of Lies and Side by Side are due to premiere in Mozambique, where they’ll air on the Soico network.

Trail of Lies is about a strong-willed woman whose baby is abducted by her own brother in a plan to inherit the family fortune. That baby is then found in a dumpster by a man who has just lost his wife and son.

Meanwhile, Side by Side tells the stories of an ex-slave in love with a capoeira instructor, and a woman from a rich family destined for an arranged marriage.
