Globo Telenovela Lands in Costa Rica

SÃO PAULO: Costa Rica’s Teletica has picked up the rights for Brazil Avenue, a successful telenovela from Globo.

Written by João Emanuel Carneiro, who penned Shades of Sin, Brazil Avenue revolves around a young woman who is trying to reestablish the life that her evil stepmother ruined when she was a child. The cast of the series is led by Deborah Falabella (Little Missy), Adriana Esteves, (Belíssima), Cauã Reymond (The Enchanted Tale), Murilo Benício (The Clone) and Ísis Valverde (India—A Love Story), among other talents.

Brazil Avenue has already been sold to several territories in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
