Brazilian Novela Trail of Lies for Pasiones

MIAMI: Pasiones, a Hemisphere Media Group network dedicated to telenovelas, has picked up the Globo title Trail of Lies (Rastros de Mentiras).

Set against the backdrops of Brazil and Peru, the novela tells the story of Paloma, a young woman who finds herself conflicted by family relationships. Secretly adopted, she learns the truth from her conniving brother, who plans to become the sole heir to the family’s fortune.

The novela features a string of Brazilian stars, among them Paola Oliveira and Malvino Salvador.

The production airs Monday through Friday at 6 p.m.
