Wattpad Teams with Wise Entertainment for Portuguese-Language Content

Wattpad, in its first major development deal in Latin America, is joining forces with Wise Entertainment to develop Portuguese-language Wattpad stories as television series and films for audiences in Brazil.

Wise Entertainment, the independent studio behind the six-time Emmy-nominated series East Los High, will work with Wattpad to develop teen and YA projects for Brazilian viewers with local writers and producers. Together, the companies will work to bring new Brazillian voices to both local and international audiences.
