Univision’s Isaac Lee Named CEO of Fusion

MIAMI: In addition to his role as president of Univision News, Isaac Lee is taking up the post of CEO of the soon-to-launch network Fusion.

In this new role, Lee will be responsible for all programming and business aspects of Fusion. The network, dedicated to news, pop culture and lifestyle programming, launches in the U.S. on October 28. A joint venture between Univision Communications and the Disney/ABC Television Network, Fusion will launch its digital platform on October 21.

Randy Falco, president and CEO of Univision Communications, stated, “Isaac is one of the most creative executives I know. His innovation and commitment makes him the right person in this expanded role.”

“Isaac has been a tremendous partner in this endeavor since its inception,” added Ben Sherwood, the president of ABC News. “His deep understanding of content that is relevant to Latinos and Millennials will be critical as we bring together diverse cultures, voices and viewpoints to serve this influential and growing audience in the months and years ahead,” he continued.
