NEW YORK: Univision NOW is a brand-new direct-to-consumer service that allows viewers to watch live or catch-up broadcasts from the Univision and UniMás networks.

The service is available for $5.99 per month of $59.99 annually. It offers viewers the ability to watch Univision Network programming live or on-demand, including prime-time telenovelas such as Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse, Antes Muerta Que Lichita, Pasión y Poder and Yo No Creo en Los Hombres; reality series such as La Banda and Nuestra Belleza Latina; award shows like the Latin Grammy Awards, Premios Univision Deportes, Premio Lo Nuestro and Premios Juventud; and news. From UniMás, users will be able to watch a range of alternative series, classic shows and football matches, including Liga MX and MLS.

In addition to accessing the national live broadcast of Univision and UniMás networks, users in New York, Los Angeles and Houston will have access to local content in those areas. This feature will roll out in other major markets following launch.

“Our loyal and passionate audience leads the market in live television viewing, and also over indexes on smartphone penetration and digital video consumption,” said Tonia O’Connor, the president of content distribution and corporate business development at Univision Communications. “Therefore, providing access to our broadcast networks, Univision and UniMás, on mobile devices is critical to our mission to entertain, empower and inform. In addition to our robust TV Everywhere offering for pay-TV subscribers, we now have a solution for our viewers who watch our networks over the air. Our goal is to serve all U.S. Hispanics.”
