MIAMI: Telemundo has landed a deal with Netflix that will see titles such as El Chema, Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso and Guerra de Ídolos premiere exclusively on the streaming service in Latin America, Spain and the U.S.

The extension of the deal between the companies also includes multi-territory on-demand rights for series such as La Reina del Sur and telenovelas like Pasión de Gavilanes. New seasons of El Señor de los Cielos will be available exclusively to Netflix members in the U.S.

“These new deals with our partners at Netflix will allow both companies to continue to grow in the SVOD market and provide even greater international and domestic exposure to our content,” said Cesar Conde, the chairman of NBCUniversal International Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.

“What is most exciting is that Netflix members will enjoy Telemundo’s latest and most anticipated series like El Chema and Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso exclusively on Netflix,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer.
