Sundance Channel Increases LatAm Footprint

NEW YORK: AMC Networks International Latin America has secured carriage for the Sundance Channel on Telefonica's Movistar pay-TV platform in Chile.

The network will be available starting this week in high definition 24 hours a day. This follows recent launches in Mexico, Argentina and Colombia. In Chile, Sundance Channel is available on most of the largest pay-TV platforms, including VTR and DIRECTV. The company has also recently expanded distribution of its other brands in Latin America, including AMC, El Gourmet, Europa Europa, Casa Club TV and Film&Arts.
