Somos Distribution to Rep Turkish Dramas in LatAm

MIAMI: Somos Distribution has signed a deal with Kanal D to sell Turkish soap operas in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.

As part of the agreement, Somos will exclusively distribute three titles in those territories. Gumus is a Cinderella story about the rise of a poor girl who patiently waits for the man she loves to love her back. Mercy tells the story of a woman who overcomes many difficulties to move to the big city, while The Outsiders is about four friends who face life struggles, heart-wrenching disappointments and the pursuit of hope.

“The interest for Turkish soap operas is growing tremendously and we are getting a lot of business proposals,” said Francisco Villanueva, the COO and VP of Somos.
