Premier League Games to Air on ESPN in Brazil

NEW YORK: ESPN has announced that it will make the full season of Premier League soccer available exclusively and live on WatchESPN in Brazil.

The TV broadcast of matches on ESPN, ESPN Brasil and ESPN+, combined with the streaming on WatchESPN, means that all 380 games of the 2016-17 Premier League season will be available for the first time in the South American country.

“The Premier League is one of the most important soccer leagues in the world and leveraging market-leading technology like WatchESPN to make all of the matches available in Brazil allows us to best serve fans,” said German Hartenstein, the general manager of ESPN in Brazil. “The Premier League on WatchESPN also helps us to continue to offer the most complete, multiplatform sports coverage and present the best content to sports fans, wherever they may be.”
