Pierre Lévy to Take Part in RioContentMarket

RIO DE JANEIRO: The cyberculture expert Pierre Lévy is set to attend RioContentMarket this year, where he will talk about the use of social networks, the future of traditional media and entertainment consumption and more.

Lévy is lined up to deliver a keynote address on the last day of the event, which is held between March 12 and 14. In his speech, Lévy will also touch on the development of Internet language and digital research systems.

Lévy currently teaches at the communication department of the University of Ottawa, where he holds a Canada research chair in collective intelligence. He has dedicated his professional life to understanding the cultural and cognitive implications of digital technology to promote their better social use, along with studying the collective human intelligence phenomenon.
