LOS ANGELES: Several hires have been made for the executive teams at the Latino-focused channel NUVOtv, with Bill Hilary leading the shakeup as the new president of SíTV Media, the network's parent company.

Hilary, formerly the executive VP of programming for NUVOtv, assumes the newly created position effective immediately. He'll report to CEO Michael Schwimmer. The exec will continue to oversee programming, development, acquisition and scheduling for NUVOtv, with marketing and ad sales now also reporting to him. He’ll also handle key operating areas for music network Fuse, pending the close of an acquisition deal announced in April.

As president, Hilary has moved quickly to shake up the network’s executive teams. He’s named Jason Miller, currently the senior VP of advertising sale for Fuse, as NUVOtv’s executive VP of ad sales and integrated marketing; Jesus M. Rodriguez, the VP of creative services at BET Networks and Centric, as the senior VP of marketing; GSN’s Diane Castro as the VP of corporate communications; and Discovery Communications’ Yolanda Enamorada as the VP of human resources. Additionally, Hilary has upped Lynnette Ramirez from VP to senior VP of programming and development, and he’s brought in NUVOtv’s special consultant Kathryn Mitchell as the network’s head of scheduling and acquisitions. Miller will be based in New York, with the rest of the execs working out of Los Angeles.

“Our company continues to evolve, but our mission remains the same: to build a dynamic media company focused on a young Latino and multicultural audience. Core to this mission is having a strong, diverse and experienced team in place that will help us to achieve our near- and long-term goals,” said Schwimmer. “With our acquisition of Fuse set to close in the coming weeks, we will be in great hands under Bill’s leadership, supported by the new group of executives he has brought on board. This combination will go a long way in helping us grow across multiple areas of our business.”

“It is a very exciting time for NUVOtv. We have a great opportunity to continue to grow the network and serve one of the most vibrant, influential and fastest growing demographics in America,” Hilary stated. “I look forward to this amazing opportunity and know that the creative energy between NUVOtv and Fuse senior management teams will result in building stronger brands and programming franchises.”
