MIAMI: U.S. Hispanic network NBC Universo is slated to premiere a Spanish-dubbed version of the hit genre series Heroes next week.

Created by Tim Kring, the series aired on NBC in the late 2000s. The drama follows ordinary people who suddenly discover they have superpowers. Heroes Reborn, a miniseries that continues the story, is currently airing on NBC.

Ahead of the series’ Spanish-language television debut on November 18, NBC Universo is making the first three episodes of Heroes available on VOD on participating satellite, cable and telco systems.

“Featuring a diverse cast, Heroes is an iconic series that incorporates elements of fantasy and action that resonate with our Latino viewers,” said Jorge Balleste, the VP of program acquisitions and sourcing at NBC Universo. “We are pleased to add this series to our programming lineup alongside Superhumanos de Stan Lee as we continue to solidify our sci-fi offerings."
