MundoFox to Premiere La Mariposa

LOS ANGELES: MundoFox is set to begin airing La Mariposa (The Butterfly), an original drama starring Maria Adelaida Puerta and Michel Brown, later this week.

La Mariposa, which has already enjoyed success in Latin America, follows a woman who becomes a fugitive being pursued by the U.S. government. It is a fictional interpretation of the story by investigative reporter Gerardo Reyes.

The drama will be broadcast by MundoFox every Monday through Friday beginning on Tuesday, December 4 at 9 p.m.

"The second season of El Capo set the bar high among MundoFox viewers. So much so that the program that follows in its time slot has to measure up to those standards at a minimum. La Mariposa is that product," said Adriana Ibanez, the executive VP of programming for MundoFox.
