More Liga Mexicana Matches to Air on Univision Deportes

MIAMI: Univision Communications has acquired the exclusive U.S. TV and digital rights for the home games of four additional Liga Mexicana teams for its Univision Deportes channel.

In addition to its rights for América, Pachuca, Estudiantes Tecos, Santos, San Luis, Queretaro, Atlas and Atlante, Univision now has exclusive rights for Toluca, Pumas de la UNAM, Monterrey and Tigres de la UANL. In total, Univsion Deportes has the rights for 204 matches for the year, as well as playoff matches. Live online streaming of select soccer matches will be available in the U.S. and Puerto Rico at UnivisionDeportes.com, featuring a Facebook plug-in with real-time commentary from fans.
