Mauro Páez-Pumar Moves Up at Scripps Networks Interactive


Scripps Networks Interactive has elevated Mauro Páez-Pumar to senior VP of affiliate and advertising sales for Latin America, a newly created post.

Páez-Pumar will oversee all regional affiliate engagement efforts leading ad sales teams based in São Paulo and Miami. He is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and tactical programs to increase advertising across the market. Páez-Pumar will also continue to manage off-air marketing for Latin America. He will report directly to Eduardo Hauser, the company’s managing director for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Páez-Pumar first joined Scripps Networks Interactive in 2014. Before that, he was chief commercial officer at AMC Networks International Latin America. He has more than 20 years of experience working in affiliate operations, sales and marketing.

“Mauro has been instrumental in growing our affiliate partnerships and is now pushing the boundaries to build out our local ad sales efforts,” said Hauser. “Under his leadership, the team is positioned to capitalize on the momentum of the growing Food Network brand.”
