Juanes, Ben Silverman Team for Bicultural Show

MIAMI: Lionfish Entertainment, a JV between Colombian musician Juanes and his manager Rebeca Leon, is partnering with TV producer Ben Silverman (Jane the Virgin) for a new series.

Persiguiendo el Sol (Chasing the Sun) will focus on the inspirational life story of the Grammy-winning superstar and his rise to international fame. Production is set to take place in Miami and Colombia. Eric Newman (Narcos) will serve as showrunner.

The news was announced at this week’s NATPE in Miami.
