Interim CFO Appointed at Univision Communications

NEW YORK: Peter H. Lori, the executive VP of finance and chief accounting officer at Univision Communications (UCI), has been named the company’s interim CFO following the resignation of Andy Hobson.

Hobson held that role and was also a senior executive VP. Hobson will assist the company during the transition. The company meanwhile will conduct a comprehensive search.

Lori joined UCI in 2005. Before that, he served as an audit partner at KPMG starting in 2002.

“We thank Andy for his numerous contributions to the company over many years,” said Randy Falco, the president and CEO of UCI. “I am pleased that we have a first-class financial team in place and I am confident Univision is in a strong position, financially and operationally, and has a great future ahead.”
