MIAMI: FremantleMedia International has secured more than 100 hours’ worth of programming sales at NATPE, landing deals on titles such as the miniseries Apple Tree Yard and the dating format Take Me Out.

Kudos’ Apple Tree Yard, adapted from the best-selling novel by Louise Doughty, has been picked up by Fox’s Pan Latin American networks. DirectTV picked up both Wildside’s Mafia Only Kills in Summer and UFA Fiction’s Deutschland ’86 for its U.S. Hispanic networks.

In addition to its scripted sales, FremantleMedia International sold a selection of non-scripted titles from its slate to Latin American and U.S. Hispanic networks. These include 25 hours of Take Me Out, as well as the documentary The Cars That Made Us (Discovery Latin America), the latest season of America’s Got Talent (Sony Networks) and the second season of Bondi Ink (Turner).

Sheila Aguirre, the executive VP of international distribution at FremantleMedia, said: “The Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets are some of the most diverse in the world, so there’s always high demand for FremantleMedia’s catalog, which has a depth and range that few other distributors can offer. Representing countries as varied as Australia, U.K., Italy and Germany, our shows are stamped with the hallmark of quality from some of the world’s most respected producers.”
