Fall Lineup Unveiled for Univision

MIAMI: Univision Network has revealed its upcoming fall schedule, which includes season three of the hit celebrity dance series Look Who’s Dancing! (¡Mira Quien Baila!), among other titles.

Also in the fall, the network will broadcast the third season of Salt and Pepper (Sal y Pimienta), an entertainment magazine program; the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil qualifier matches; and Giant Saturday (Sabado Gigante), a long-running variety show celebrating its 50th anniversary. Univision Network will air telenovelas such as A Shelter for Love (Un Refugio para el Amor), For Her, I’m Eva (Por Ella Soy Eva), Abyss of Passion (Abismo de Pasion) and When the Heart Commands (Amor Bravio).

Also on the slate is the premiere of Sabadazo—three hours of comedy skits, talent contents, special guests and performances—and the 12th season of Here and Now (Aqui y Ahora), an investigative news magazine program. The network will also broadcast the season two finale of Little Giants (Pequeños Gigantes), a family-friendly reality series; and El Grito, which will feature live footage of the Mexican independence celebrations.

Additionally, Univision Network will air the Latin Grammy Awards Show, America Celebra a Chespirito Special and Festival Acapulco: Juan Gabriel 40th Anniversary.

"Continuing the success of year round first-run programming that has driven us to a successful summer, we are very excited to be announcing a vigorous programming line-up that includes some of the best telenovelas in the world, from our partner Televisa; and season three of Mira Quien Baila, one of the hottest reality dance competitions on television," said Luis Fernández, the company’s president of entertainment and Univision Studios. "We will also be airing some exiting special events including the commemoration of Sabado Gigante‘s world record 50th season."
