Estrella TV Licenses Series in Latin America

NEW YORK: Just before its inaugural exhibition at NATPE, Estrella TV has sold several prime-time shows to broadcasters in Panama, Nicaragua and Ecuador.

Milagros is a one-hour drama illustrating the miracles that real people claim to have experienced after praying to God through the saints. The title was picked up by Panama’s FETV and Nicaragua’s Canal 13. In addition to Milagros, Canal 13 opted for Los Chuperamigos, a 30-minute sketch comedy; Historias Delirantes, a suspense thriller; and El Humor de Hector Suarez, a weekly sketch comedy show.In Ecuador, Telerama purchased the rights to A Que No Puedes, a fast-paced celebrity game show.
