Comarex Reveals MIPTV 2016 Programming Slate

MEXICO CITY: Comarex is slated to showcase a variety of series, miniseries, telenovelas, animation, formats and films at this year’s MIPTV, including the drama Tuscan Passion.

Comarex will be promoting a number of series produced by Chile’s Canal 13, including 20añero a los 40, a comedy about a man who wakes up from a 27-year-long coma; Valio La Pena, which tells the story of a successful real-estate executive who suddenly becomes the guardian to her friend’s daughter; and Chipe Libra, focused on a couple seeking help from a relationship therapist.

The company will also be offering buyers from Asia, Africa and Latin America such European series and miniseries from Mediaset as A Matter of Respect, about two brothers’ different paths to avenge their father; Tuscan Passion, which tells the story of a woman who went to jail for the murder of her boyfriend’s father; Elisa, about a girl who falls in love while dealing with servitude and an arrogant noble family; and Into the Woods, centered on a young psychologist who is trying to figure out why her mother mysteriously abandoned her.

Comarex will also be presenting various formats, including KTF: From Kitchen to Fame, a reality show for people who want to become famous chefs; The Prey, about a policewoman investigating murders in a coastal city; and Dirty Ant, which follows a special Interpol agent who must recover major works of art that have been stolen from museums around the globe.
