PALISADES PARK: A number of buyers in Latin America have licensed the rights for the 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards—slated to broadcast live on the Univision Network in the U.S.—from Alfred Haber Distribution.

The awards show has been snapped up by Televisa in Mexico, Venevision in Venezuela, Caracol in Colombia, Turner in Latin America, Telemicro in the Dominican Republic and Channel 1 in Ecuador. It is being sold by Alfred Haber as a televised three-hour commercial version—including a one-hour red carpet pre-show—and as an edited 2-hour English international version.

This year's Latin Grammy Awards, which will be hosted by actor/singer Lucero, is being held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 21. Performers will include Pablo Alborán, Marc Anthony and Miguel Bosé, to name a few.

"No other television event celebrates Latin music and culture like the spectacular Latin Grammy Awards," said Alfred Haber, the president of Alfred Haber, Inc. "Since its debut in 2000, this annual special has become known for its energetic performances, exceptional productions, and extraordinary, party-like atmosphere."
