Alfred Haber Licenses Latin Grammy Awards Throughout Latin America

NEW JERSEY, June 30:
Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) has finalized the sale of the 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards to several Latin American broadcasters.

The awards show will air
live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 2. This three-hour
program, along with a one-hour Red Carpet pre-show produced by Univision, is
being held in New York this year for the first time and includes a new category
of Cumbia-Vallenato, which recognizes the music and tradition of Colombia. For
the first time, the show is also available to international broadcasters in a
90-minute, edited English version.

AHDI has recently inked
deals for 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards with Televisa in Mexico, Gammavision in Ecuador, Televicentro in
Nicaragua, Telemicro in the Dominican Republic, Compania Televisora in Honduras
and TNT Latin America. The program has also been sold to Gestmusic in Spain.

“Last year the Latin
Grammy Awards
aired for the first
time on Univision—and for the first time entirely in Spanish—to
explosive ratings,” said Robert Kennedy, the executive Vice President of AHDI.
“Delivering nine million total viewers, the program was the most-watched Latin
Grammy telecast ever. We are pleased that this year the Latin Grammy will be
available throughout all of Latin America.”
