Dopamine & Turner LatAm in Three-Series Pact

Turner Latin America and Dopamine have struck up a partnership to develop and produce three original series this year.

Part of the pact, Coyotl is a supernatural drama that touches on the conflict at the Mexico-U.S. border. When a U.S.-born teenager from a Mexican immigrant family arrives in an imaginary town in Northern Mexico, everything changes as he gets bitten by a coyote and becomes a new version of the mystical werewolf Coyotl, ready to protect the lives of people who illegally sneak across the border.

The contemporary romantic and family drama Amarres will tell the story of Ana, the granddaughter of an old amarradora at Sonora market in Mexico. As a way out of her desperate financial situation, Ana decides to go back to the old family tradition in order to stop her husband from getting custody of their children and becomes entangled in a world of magic in the process.

Tu parte del trato is all about strong female roles. The thriller, set at the turn of 1990s, features divas who are empowered to the point of murder.
