Portfolio Entertainment has teamed up with Blue Dream Studios’ Scott Christian Sava (Animal Crackers) to adapt his graphic novel Pet Robots into an animated comedy for kids 6 to 9.
Pet Robots centers on four students who, while on a field trip to a toy company, accidentally activate a group of robots that they must work together with to save the world from an evil toymaker. Portfolio will hold the global distribution and L&M rights for the show.
“With Pet Robots, Sava has created a rich, vibrant world full of wonderful, comical characters, thrilling adventures and a story with plenty of heart,” said Lisa Olfman, co-founder and CEO of Portfolio Entertainment. “We look forward to working with Scott and bringing his vision from page to screen.”
