Portfolio Entertainment has signed a raft of global deals across its slate, including for Where Oliver Fits, going to Discovery Kids Latin America.

In partnership with the CMF/SRF Digital Animated Series Program and Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse TV, the series was adapted from the Canadian children’s book Where Oliver Fits by Cale Atkinson. The animated comedy explores the challenges of not knowing where you fit in with your friends and how to be yourself.

A new half-hour Christmas special Where Oliver Fits: A Christmas Eve Tale was also picked up by Discovery Kids Latin America.

“We can’t wait for kids around the world to meet Oliver,” said Donnie MacIntyre, VP of sales and business development at Portfolio. “His adventurous spirit and can-do attitude as he searches for his place in the world will provide young audiences with all the excitement and entertainment they are looking for this holiday season.”

Hero Elementary, produced by Portfolio and Twin Cities PBS for PBS Kids, is headed to SIC in Portugal and CTC in Russia. The action-packed series sees kids with superpowers learn how to use their gifts while attending the titular institution.

CTC in Russia also renewed its commitment for seasons one, two and three of The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That! Produced by Portfolio Entertainment and Collingwood O’Hare Productions in association with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Random House Children’s Entertainment and PBS Kids, the series is based on Random House’s best-selling Beginner Book collection, The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library.

CTC also renewed its deal for seasons one and two of the 7 Wonder-produced Do You Know?, featuring YouTube vlogger Maddie Moate. Season five of the series was picked up by TVB for Hong Kong.
