DHX’s Teletubbies On Board Sponsored Walk in U.K.

DHX Brands’ Teletubbies has partnered with children’s charity Barnardo’s to support this year’s The Big Toddle, the U.K.’s largest fundraiser for children under the age of 5.

Barnardo’s The Big Toddle kicked off last month and will continue throughout the summer. The fundraising event sees nurseries and parents arrange their own walks for preschoolers across the country. Since Teletubbies became involved this year, there has been a 33 percent increase in the number of nurseries and parents signing up.

Charlotte Hill, the senior brand manager at DHX Brands, commented: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Barnardo’s Big Toddle this year. Teletubbies celebrates play, love and laughter, so working with the U.K.’s biggest and brightest event for children under five is a natural fit for the brand and our young audience. The response from nurseries, communities and families has been fantastic, and we hope it’s the most successful year to date with lots of money raised for Barnardo’s.”
