The British TV production sector reached a new high of £2.7 billion ($3.5 billion), a rise of nearly a third over the past decade, according to Pact’s annual census.

Entertainment, factual and kids led U.K. exports in 2016/17, according to Pact, with total revenues from U.K. content sales reaching £902 million.

International revenues for the U.K. TV production sector grew by 5.3 percent in the past year and have tripled in the past eight years, according to the Pact 2016 Census.
