After a difficult first half of the year, ProSiebenSat.1 Media says revenues stabilized in the third quarter, slipping by 3 percent to €888 million ($952 million).

Citing broader macroeconomic forces in its German-speaking markets, ProSiebenSat.1 Group reported 2022 revenues of €4.2 billion ($4.6 billion), a 7.4 percent reduction on 2021, with adjusted net income dropping 17.4 percent to €301 million ($332 million).

Former RTL Group chief Bert Habets has been named the new group CEO at ProSiebenSat.1 Media, replacing Rainer Beaujean.

Bert Habets, formerly CEO of RTL Group, has been appointed as the CEO of Antenna Group.

Revenues at RTL Group for 2018 rose by 2.1 percent to reach €6.5 billion, bolstered by its digital business, Fremantle and RTL Nederland.

Reporting improved ad revenues in its key markets of Germany, France and the Netherlands, RTL Group said overall Q1 revenues were stable at 1.4 billion euros ($1.7 billion), while profit was down 19 percent to 111 million euros ($131 million).

Guillaume de Posch is stepping down as co-CEO of RTL Group, effective January 1, with Bert Habets to lead the group as sole CEO.
