TMG Posts Gains in 2014 Results

MUNICH: Tele München Gruppe (TMG) has reported increases in its 2014 financial results, with revenues of 232 million euros ($261 million) and an EBITDA of 55 million euros ($62 million).

All of the company's segments were profitable with positive cash flow, the company said in a statement. VOD boosted its core licensing segment, thanks in part to deals with Amazon, maxdome, Google and Netflix, among others.

Revenue from film and DVD/Blu-ray distribution fell due to the delay of several theatrical releases. Highlights of this segment included The Centenarian Who Climbed Out of the Window and Vanished, plus Divergent and Sapphire Blue.

Revenues were up at TELE 5 and RTL II, and at Clasart Classic.
