YouView Adds Netflix to Offer

LONDON: Netflix has launched on the U.K. Internet TV service YouView, bringing with it box sets of hits such as Breaking Bad, Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards.

Also available are The Originals, Homeland and Bojack Horseman, along with films such as The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Skyfall and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. In December, the new Netflix original Marco Polo becomes part of the offer.

Netflix is available today on YouView from BT set-top boxes and Humax set-top boxes. BT TV customers who sign up for Netflix alongside BT broadband and TV offers can pay for Netflix via their BT bill, a world first for Netflix. With the addition of Netflix, YouView now offers all the major U.K. on-demand players, including BBC iPlayer, 4OD, ITV Player, Demand 5 and Sky's NOW TV.
