Cécile Frot-Coutaz to Lead Sky Studios

Cécile Frot-Coutaz, currently head of YouTube in EMEA, is set to become CEO of Sky Studios.

Frot-Coutaz, who headed up Fremantle before joining YouTube, takes on her new role leading Sky Studios in September. Overseeing the funding, development, production and commissioning teams for scripted Sky originals, Frot-Coutaz will also take on oversight of Sky Studios-owned production companies such as Blast! Films, Jupiter Entertainment, True North and Love Productions, as well as the upcoming Sky Studios Elstree facility. Gary Davey, who currently leads Sky Studios, is retiring later this year.

She is perfectly suited to lead Sky Studios as we ramp up our investment in original content and look ahead to cameras rolling at Sky Studios Elstree next year.”
