Mediaset Ups Investment in ProSiebenSat.1 Media

Mediaset has raised its stake in ProSiebenSat.1 Media to just under 20 percent, after acquiring a further 4.25 percent shareholding.

Mediaset España Comunicacion, a company of the Mediaset Group, secured 9,902,500 shares in ProSiebenSat.1, corresponding to 4.25 percent of the company’s share capital (and 4.38 percent of the voting rights, excluding treasury stock). The deal is valued at €61 million ($66 million).
