Movistar+ Re-Ups Deal for Sony Movies in Spain

Movistar+ and Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) have renewed their feature film agreement, which now includes such hit titles as the Oscar-nominated Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood.

Fellow Oscar nominees Little Women and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood will also soon arrive on the platform. The renewed deal additionally includes Spider-Man: Far From Home, Jumanji: The Next Level, Men in Black: International, Bad Boys for Life, Angry Birds 2, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Morbius. A number of classic SPE features are part of the deal as well, including Philadelphia, Seven Years in Tibet, Taxi Driver, Stand by Me and Karate Kid.

The current agreement for the carriage of AXN and AXN White channels, as well as SPE’s VOD service AXN Now, has also been extended.
